Meditation -

it’s not what you think!

Practicing with a group is a fantastic way to feel supported in your practice and to take it even further.

In group meditation classes you will…

Receive clear and helpful instruction so you can develop your practice
Learn from the experience of others
Benefit from questions you may not think to ask!
Grow a sense of confidence, connection and community

Meditation supports a deepening understanding of ourselves and our relationship to the world around us. It invites us to enter a conversation with life, as we find it.

Meditation is not a quick-fix. It is simple to learn, but not easy to master. It is a practice of working with your own mind, that when cultivated will reward you over and over for the rest of your life.

Meditation is for everybody. All you need is your own body, your own mind, and a desire to know yourself and others more clearly and more compassionately.

Breathing meditation - every Wednesday at 7:15pm

Join us in the Ballroom at Fairfield House

Come and practice simple breathing meditation in a supportive and caring atmosphere. This is a universal practice, and these meditation sessions are open to everyone: from beginners through to experienced, people from any religious tradition and people with no religious affiliations.
We sit for 20 minutes, walk for 10 minutes, and sit for 10 minutes.

There is then time for questions and sharing. Instruction will be given for anyone new to the practice.

The facilitators are all experienced practitioners, and we support and learn from everyone’s wisdom.

There is a bowl available for Dana/Donation/Koha to cover the venue hire.
Contact Chani for more information.

“The discipline of meditation is a dignified approach to learning how to be here.

It is the simple appreciation of a sense of presence.”
